Play Stump Shellie on ATS LIVE!

Hey y’all, it’s Monday and that means I’ll be on air this evening from 5:00 to 6:00 PM CST hosting this big happy southern community on ATS LIVE! If you’re a regular listener, I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you’re a new listener who has just found me, WELCOME! If you’ve been meaning to join us and keep forgetting, I hope you’ll find your way to the cyber porch this evening. ATS LIVE airs locally on Talk540 KMLB and streams alllllllll across the world in real time! Here’s that listening link for your convenience.  My call in numbers: 1-800-259-1440 (or locally at 318-324-1500)

I’ll be opening the show with a segment called Stump Shellie.

This is where you leave me a word or phrase here, via my twitter, or on my Facebook wall, **right before the show!** challenging me to tell a story on the spot with that phrase. Last week, “right after midnight” was the challenge and I shared a teenage story about the time I slipped out of the house on a double dog-dare because my friends said my sisters and I were raised in San Quentin. I wasn’t gone five minutes but my reentry to the house was the funny part! This, a reference to how strict our parents were!) You can hear the podcast of last week’s show here.

Now, go ahead and leave me a note that you’re planning to play along and you have an idea, but don’t post it until right before the show or you’ll give me chance to think– and that spoils the fun! 🙂
